Trolley Collection Driver

About the Role

You will ensure trolleys are available for use and that stores are in pristine condition, enabling customers to experience a hygienically clean environment. You’ll work collaboratively with your team while making a positive impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Perform pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Adhere to safety and operational processes related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Comply with road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
Requirements:
  • Strong ambition, love of retail, and passion for people to drive career growth
  • Hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates), or full International drivers Licence
  • Good physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
