Job Description

This role supports the Director of Medical Services (DMS) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in projects and activities related to professional medical issues, medical education, quality and clinical governance, workforce planning and revenue maximization.

  • Participate in relevant patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in investigating sentinel and critical adverse events and patients' cases.
  • Attend and present at meetings such as Patient Safety and Mortality Review meetings.
  • Contribute to ACHS accreditation survey activities.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans for revenue growth including quality improvement initiatives in clinical documentation and medical coding.
  • Actively promote a safe work environment that prioritizes the health and safety of colleagues, clients, and visitors.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture where staff are vigilant to risks affecting themselves, their colleagues, clients, and visitors.
  • Engage actively in the Health Service 1:1 conversation process.
