Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Handyperson Engineer to join our team at W Brisbane. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's equipment, tools, and mechanical systems to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to guest repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Inspect and maintain kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs
  • Perform surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs, as well as replace light bulbs and air conditioning filters
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment, plumbing, and electrical components
  • Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work
