About the Role

The successful candidate will assist the Early and Middle Childhood Partnering and Programming Manager and Youth Partnering and Programming Manager in implementing early childhood, middle childhood, and youth technical programs. This will involve effectively monitoring and evaluating our work, reporting impact to donors, and supporting other Impact Partnering and Programming initiatives as directed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the co-design, adaptation, implementation, transition, and monitoring of technical programming for children, youth, and families, including relevant project models aligned with our AFNP strategy.
  • Support and coordinate partner organisations and AFNP partnering and project model specialists to produce consistent, timely, high-quality data and reporting progress and impact.
  • Support partners to contribute to strengthening the evidence base for their work and project models working collaboratively with First Nations partners and AFN Program Managers to adapt learning roots and unlock literacy models to local contexts.
  • Collate and analyse project data (including work with First Nations partners) to provide reports on program impact to various internal and external stakeholders and supporters.
  • Provide support and co-facilitation where appropriate for sector-specific training under the guidance of the Partnering and Programming Managers, e.g., 3a Practitioner training in remote First Nations communities.
  • Assist the IPP team with community development, regional planning, partnering, and First Nations organisation capability development planning as directed.
  • Contract management in accordance with WVA policies and procedures, including managing contract reporting deadlines.
  • Team administration and logistics support, including event management for small-sized events, e.g., face-to-face study trips and online learning forums.
  • Undertake program resource development, including developing creative resources such as newsletters and posters for AFNP programs.
  • Ensure compliance with WVA Child and Adult Safeguarding policies and practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in project management, including contract management.
  • Understanding of First Nations community contexts and organisational challenges across Australia.
  • Community development programming with First Nations organisations, large NGOs, government agencies, communities, organisations, peoples from diverse cultures, and disadvantaged communities.
  • Program design, monitoring, and implementation experience.
  • Program resource development experience.
  • Experience in data gathering, analysis, and sense-making.
  • Tertiary qualifications in community development, social science, program management, or other relevant qualifications.
What We Offer

As a World Vision employee, you will have access to:

  • A competitive salary package, estimated to be around $70,000 - $80,000 per annum.
  • Flexible working arrangements and a dynamic work environment.
  • Professional development opportunities and ongoing supervision, support, and training.
  • An opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team who share your values and commitment to creating positive change.
