Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Arup is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the water industry. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects throughout all phases of design, providing mentoring and support for other engineers, and fostering ongoing capability and skills building within the team.

The Opportunity:
  • Lead and manage challenging and complex water and wastewater projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Represent Arup at internal and external events and contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives.
  • Take ownership of the performance and development of others, providing guidance, training, direction, and feedback to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements:
  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in civil or similar area.
  • Relevant industry experience in the water industry, ideally in a consulting business environment.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
  • Experience with internal and external stakeholder management.
