We are seeking a talented Remote Project Safety Manager to join our team on a FIFO basis, departing from Queensland. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of remote construction projects, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Tasks:- Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures across remote project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training to employees and contractors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on workplace health and safety.
- Relevant qualifications in Work Health and Safety (e.g., Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven ability to conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams on-site.
- Experience in FIFO roles or remote project work is an advantage.
