About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Seasonal Forklift Driver & Parcel Handler. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for operating a forklift, loading and unloading mail and parcels, and sorting items using scanners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload mail and parcels from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
  • Sort parcels and mail manually or using machine-assisted scanners
  • Work across sophisticated processing equipment and lines
  • Operate and use load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers while cooperating with operations staff to get the mail into the facility
  • Work a regular shift time, Monday to Friday, 4am-9am

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid LF Forklift License, be physically fit, and able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly. You will also need to have a great memory and attention to detail, be safety-conscious, and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices, including pallet jacks to load and unload parcels from trucks and vans.
