Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our People and Culture Technology & Systems team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in People Systems and Payroll, with a strong understanding of complex system integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and optimise recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll SME and System Analysts to ensure changes meet payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and document P&C process improvements to streamline operations and improve employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all P&C functions, particularly in payroll and employee data management.
  • Create strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops to elicit requirements.
  • Define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Manage sprint goals, story estimation, and provide clearly documented outcomes.
  • Change management is communicated and respective stories updated accurately.
  • Clearly articulate the user story and acceptance criteria to the Quality Assurance team.
  • Utilise Jira to manage backlog, sprints, sprint burndown reports, providing project updates.
About You
  • A bachelor's degree in business or technology-related field.
  • Deep understanding of payroll compliance, with knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations.
  • Broad understanding of recruitment, employee onboarding, and employee files.
  • Experience working across complex integrations.
  • Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal relationship building.
  • Strong skills and experience in Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, coordination, and time management skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive conversation to outcome clarity.
