Automotive Technician/Mechanic Position

The role of a qualified Automotive Technician/Mechanic is to carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repair orders and diagnose problems. This includes maintaining a sound knowledge of our products and services, following correct procedures when carrying out warranty work, and ensuring all warranty parts are tagged with the correct information and stored properly.
Key Tasks:- Carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repair orders
- Diagnose problems and identify root causes
- Maintain a sound knowledge of our products and services
- Follow correct procedures when carrying out warranty work
- Ensure all warranty parts are tagged with the correct information and stored properly
As part of our team, you will also be responsible for participating in in-house technical training to assist with your career development and being responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Qualified Automotive Technician/Mechanic qualifications
- Experience in a dealership environment is an advantage but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Current manual driver's license
