About the Role

This newly created Account Manager position in Queensland is pivotal in driving Sulzer's continued growth and upholding its commitment to exceptional client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales Services Australia, the Account Manager will join a dynamic national team that has propelled the organization to new heights through strategic leadership and refined processes from tender through to delivery and ongoing client relationship management.

The primary mission of this role is to develop and execute comprehensive growth plans for the allocated territory, ensuring every initiative is measurable, impactful, and aligned with ambitious growth targets. You will bring the Account Manager Plan to life, collaborating with a talented sales team to achieve – and exceed – annual budget goals.

Key Responsibilities

  3. Coordinate and manage activities, including strategic visit plans
  4. Foster a culture of aggressive goal achievement and innovation to consistently deliver on promises
  5. Take ownership of producing and managing forecasts for order intake in close alignment with the Sales Excellence Business Partner
About You

You're a dynamic, self-driven professional who thrives on taking ownership of your role and consistently delivering outstanding results. Your exceptional time management skills ensure you can juggle multiple priorities while keeping your eye on the prize – driving meaningful outcomes. With a knack for building strong client relationships and influencing stakeholders, you're an effective communicator who knows how to get things done.

Ideally, you hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification and bring solid experience from within Electric Motor Services. You've successfully implemented sales strategies and have a deep understanding of the Mining, Oil and Gas, or Power Utility sectors and their unique market dynamics.
