Job Title

Our multidisciplinary team seeks an experienced Speech Therapist to support our clients in the Ringwood area.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver evidence-based therapeutic supports and promote optimal outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients requiring speech therapy services
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions in a timely manner, interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Assess clients' communication and/or swallowing level of function and capacity using clinical observations and standardized assessments
  • Recommend provision of assistive technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and promote independence
Requirements
  • Possess a positive, can-do approach and mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference
  • Strive for continuous improvement of practices and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
  • Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified Speech Therapist
  • Current certified practicing membership with relevant professional association
