We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced computer vision expert to spearhead the design and development of advanced generative models for our catalog. Our mission is to create next-generation media content that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

About the Role:

You will lead the scientific development of scalable computer vision solutions, working closely with senior stakeholders to better understand business problems. You will also partner directly with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of advanced generative models for image, video, and 3D content">
  • Develop and implement AI models tailored to our specific business needs">
  • Collaborate with data analysis initiatives to extract actionable insights from Amazon's vast datasets">
  • Conduct research initiatives to address complex customer challenges and push the boundaries of AI in e-commerce">
  • Mentor and guide junior scientists and interns, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning">
  • Drive technical decision-making and set the direction for building future AI models">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, or mathematics. You should have at least 4 years of experience building machine learning models for business applications and programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or related languages. Additionally, you should have at least 5 publications on top-tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or NeurIPS.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-scale machine learning systems, mentoring PhD students or managing a team of scientists, and knowledge of system performance and scalability would be an advantage.
