Health Information Services Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Health Information Services team at Maroondah Hospital. As a Health Information Services Clerk, you will play a critical role in preparing medical records for scanning, ensuring patient confidentiality, and maintaining the quality of our electronic medical record (EMR) and paper medical records.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patient medical records for scanning, including quality checking documents and ensuring they are ready for scanning.
- Scan prepared documents in a timely manner to ensure they are available for electronic viewing by clinical staff.
- Maintain the quality of scanned documents, as well as our EMR and paper medical records.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as requested.
- Experience using computers and Microsoft Office.
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality.
- Availability to work day and afternoon shifts as rostered.
