Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Casual Ambulance Transport Attendant.

This role involves delivering high-quality patient care and transportation services to non-emergency patients in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and interventions during on-road transport
  • Provide exceptional patient care and treatment throughout the transportation process
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
  • Work independently and problem-solve within established policies and procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve excellent patient outcomes
Essential Qualifications:
  • A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration) is required
  • For Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) qualified - evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements, clinical skills assessment, and minimum 400 hours operational experience under direct supervision
  • Availability to work 10 and 12-hour shifts across 7 days
  • Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
  • Compassionate, professional, and dedicated service delivery
  • Desirable but not essential: experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role
  • Required: satisfactory completion of safety screening including current Full Drivers Licence, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and right to work in Australia
