Job Title: Teacher - Nursing & Health Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver curriculum that meets the needs of students and industry;
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback that promotes growth and improvement;
  • Contribute to the development of teaching and learning materials and resources that support student success;
  • Maintain currency of skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development and research.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Nursing degree and current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment provided;
  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
  • Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;
  • Current Queensland Driver's licence.

Additional Information:

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); or
  • TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education
