We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, including revenue and logistics reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Commerce or related field, CPA or CA membership, and general ledger experience. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills and self-discipline.
In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders to report revenue across each of the mines, which forms the basis for all revenue reporting and revenue allocation across the group. You will also prepare accounting requirements of port and rail costs across the business.

About the Role:
- End of month revenue and logistics reporting requirements, including marketing reporting/corporate reporting/board reporting/ASX reporting requirements.
- Maintain sales hedging book as per internal policy requirements, including EOM hedge accounting reconciliations.
- Commercial partnering with Revenue team on contract/invoicing/trade finance requirements, including managing trade finance process.
- Reconciliation of all sales related and logistics related accruals and balance sheet items monthly.
- Budget and forecast preparation for Logistics.
- Complete all audit requirements including hard close, half and full year audit processes.
- Assist in the preparation of cashflow forecasting requirements in conjunction with several internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting / Business or related field.
- CPA or CA membership, or intention to progress towards membership.
- General Ledger experience (Pulse Mining ERP, SAP) desirable but not essential.
- BI System experience (TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics) desirable but not essential.
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organisational skills and self-discipline.
