We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Harbison, a community-based aged care organisation in the Southern Highlands. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Job Overview

This comprehensive nursing professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality direct and individualised care to residents across all shifts and both sites. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate services and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Responsibilities
  • Nursing Care Delivery: Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessments, care planning, and implementation.
  • Care Coordination: Coordinate services with other disciplines and agencies to maximise care outcomes for residents.
  • Clinical Risk Management: Identify, document, and manage clinical risks to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care delivery and corresponding reports.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to care staff, including Enrolled Nurses, personal care workers, and students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration.
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of residents.
  • Autonomy and ability to prioritise work within established policies and procedures.
  • Problem-solving skills and techniques with evaluation of outcomes.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary package of approximately $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Employed under the Harbison Nursing Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026.
