About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Practice & Inclusion Lead in Townsville.
In this critical enabler role, you will provide coaching and advice on all matters pertaining to quality, inclusive early childhood education and care. You will share your skills and experiences with centre teams, supporting their teaching, learning, and inclusion for all children.
You will work directly with a selected group of centres in the delivery of their Quality Improvement Plan actions by coaching and modelling to build sustainable teaching and learning capabilities. Additionally, you will provide specialist inclusion advice and consultancy to centre leadership teams to enable high-quality targeted and intensive inclusion support.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to safeguarding children and working collaboratively within the Teaching, Learning, and Support team to ensure targeted and intensive strategies are implemented and monitored for effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and advice to centre teams on quality, inclusive early childhood education and care
- Support centre teams in delivering high-quality teaching and learning for all children
- Work directly with centres in implementing Quality Improvement Plan actions
- Provide specialist inclusion advice and consultancy to centre leadership teams
- Contribute to safeguarding children and collaborating with the Teaching, Learning, and Support team
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised university, extensive experience in delivering high-quality, inclusive early learning, and comprehensive knowledge of policies, frameworks, and funding supports for children and families.
You will also possess excellent communication, organisational, evaluation, and team leadership skills, as well as a sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Salary:
$93,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
