Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient IT Desktop Support Technician to deliver technical assistance and upkeep for our organization's desktop computing framework. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in desktop support, problem-solving, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering comprehensive face-to-face, phone, and email support to users across various locations. Setting up, configuring, and diagnosing hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop systems. Collaborating with users to address technical challenges promptly and effectively. Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and system enhancements. Overseeing desktop security measures to ensure adherence to organizational policies and standards. Partnering with IT teams to facilitate the seamless integration of desktop systems with other infrastructure elements. Keeping precise and current documentation of desktop setups, procedures, and troubleshooting methods. Creating and revising user manuals to empower users to resolve common issues independently.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as a Desktop Support Technician or in a similar capacity. Knowledge of hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting methodologies. Strong analytical and communication abilities. Current active Government Security clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain higher-level clearance.
