About the Role
We're seeking an Insurance and Underwriting Officer to join our Member Insurance and Claims team. As an Insurance and Underwriting Officer, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the accurate and timely completion of member requests within Service Delivery.
These requests include all changes to default insurance cover, general insurance enquiries, and changes to tailored insurance cover. You'll engage internal and external customers as required and be responsible for effective management of member interactions.
This role is responsible for the monitoring of insurance application requirements and the provisioning of quality underwriting through compliance with the Insurer guidelines and standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a great communicator with top-notch interpersonal skills. You'll also need to be able to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them.
You'll have demonstrated experience in insurance administration and knowledge of the underwriting process. You'll also have a sound knowledge of Australian Retirement Trust's insurance product and a high level of numeracy.
