We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar to join our team at Charterhouse Medical.
Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an O&G Registrar at one of Victoria's largest facilities. The role will provide clinical support to the service across all elements of patient care and enable the individual to progress their training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attendance at ante-natal and gynaecology outpatients
- Labour ward and providing assistance in theatre and undertaking surgical procedures (under supervision)
Requirements:
- General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
- IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
- IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
- IMG's assessed by RANZCOG College as partially or substantially comparable
- IMG's interested in foreign training via the Short Term training specialist pathway (STT)
- Have experience working as an O&G Registrar

This 350+ bed health service is the major healthcare provider in the region and is the principle referral hospital for the entire region. It provides general and specialty medical and surgical services, emergency and intensive care, residential aged care, rehabilitation, oncology, mental health, maternity, paediatric services, and Hospital in the Home (HITH).
