We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our building services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role in a dynamic and innovative environment.

About the Role

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for contributing to a range of exciting projects across various sectors, including aviation, defence, resources, and commercial. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical design leadership on both single and multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects as required.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, authorities, and internal colleagues to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising quality.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business development opportunities and understanding their evolving needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation.
  • 5 to 8+ years' industry experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Well-versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector.
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC etc.).
  • Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit MEP (advantageous).
