Student Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive wellbeing coordinator to lead the development of programs, resources, and communications that promote student health, wellbeing, and safety. This role is central to our commitment to preventing gender-based violence and creating a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement proactive wellbeing initiatives and campaigns that support student mental health and wellbeing.
  2. Address factors contributing to financial, physical, and emotional stress among students by collaborating with relevant stakeholders and providing supportive services.
  3. Collaborate with our Student Equity Project team to develop resources promoting respectful relationships and student safety, ensuring a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  4. Co-design programs reflecting diverse student needs and lived experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and community among students.

Requirements:
  1. Strong understanding of student wellbeing, prevention of gender-based violence, and inclusive practice.

  3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Creative problem-solving and adaptability in responding to emerging challenges and opportunities.
