Current Opportunity

We're currently engaged in the ECI phase of a major Rare Earth project in Alice Springs, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the initial setup of the project, based initially out of our Victoria Park head office. Subsequently, you'll transition to a site-based position undertaking a 2:1 FIFO roster (ex any capital city) during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety, and quality.
  • Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules, and contract.
  • Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required.
  • Lead the procurement and work pack development for the project.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team.
  • Compile schedule, cost, progress, and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met.
  • Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project.

  • Extensive experience in Project Engineering on large-scale resources construction projects for similar companies.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • A methodical approach, high attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Delivery-focused, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight schedule.
  • Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
  • Committed to a FIFO roster during the construction phase of the project.
