The Role

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide embedded, specialized, knowledge-based services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical documentation and liaising with subject matter experts for specialist advice
  • Preparing technical reports, briefs, and official project correspondence
  • Evaluating and ensuring that delivered materiel meets legislative, policy, and regulatory framework requirements
  • Supporting the development and update of internal system engineering management plans
  • Assisting and participating in architecture artefacts for all capability development activities

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet objectives and targets for our clients
  • High-level technical writing skills
  • A strong commitment to upholding our values and ethical standards

Essential Requirements

The following key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all employees:

  • Be an Australian Citizen
  • Hold a current Negative Vetting 1 Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Additional Requirements

The following additional requirements are required for this role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Systems Engineering
  • Demonstrate experience in Systems Engineering in complex technological environments and experience with all stages of the engineering lifecycle
  • Previous Defence experience, ideally with experience in the Defence Capability Life Cycle and Processes
