About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our team at Pritchard Francis. As a Senior Civil Designer, you will be responsible for designing and documenting civil engineering projects from the schematic stage to detailed documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD and either 12D or Civil 3D software.
  • Coordinate with clients, other consultants, internal engineers, senior civil designers, and draftspersons for the documentation of civil engineering projects.
  • Plan and complete design projects within agreed budgets and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Relevant industry experience, ideally 3+ years.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, 12D software, and/or Civil 3D.
  • A sound knowledge of construction methods and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong design capabilities and knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes and local government authorities.
  • Experience within a consultancy environment will be highly regarded.
  • TAFE qualification - Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree or similar equivalent industry experience.
