About the Role:
The ideal candidate will lead scientific initiatives with a strong focus on pet health and nutrition, providing expert knowledge to support other business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in cross-functional teams reviewing scientific content for marketing, education, and training materials.
- Collaborate with the Consumer Care team on complex nutrition cases.
- Develop and deliver product and nutrition training for staff, advisors, sales reps, and university ambassadors.
- Deliver tailored nutrition training and develop digital educational resources for veterinary and retail accounts.
- Engage with media outlets to educate audiences on pet nutrition.
- Build relationships with influential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and university hospitals aligned with local strategies.
- Serve as the technical expert for QLD & NSW sales teams, training and coaching managers on the Royal Canin portfolio.
Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Science and current registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of QLD.
- Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience with a strong network of veterinary specialists and professionals in Queensland.
- A personable individual who enjoys educating others, building relationships, and prioritizing workload.
- Confident presenter and speaker across diverse audiences.
- Motivated, with initiative and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Proficient in computer skills, preferably with experience in Microsoft Teams.
- A valid QLD driver's license.
- Membership with ANZCVS is highly regarded.
