Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team in Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to key stakeholders, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting that complies with relevant statutory and accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert financial information and advice to the Business Development and Bidding Managers, including identifying and facilitating improvements to financial reporting and processes.
  • Coordinate and manage budget processes with functional budget owners, analyzing revenue and costs.
  • Regularly review and analyze costs against bid budgets and distribute cost reports to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Provide finance support to bid/business development teams, ensuring all compliance and approvals have been met.
  • Create WBS codes and implement effective cost controls.
  • Raise purchase requisitions accurately and on time within approved budgets, including receipting of invoices.
  • Maintain cash flow related to tenders, establishing proper invoicing, collections, and payment terms.
  • Ensure JV Partner reporting requirements are met according to relevant JV agreements.
  • Responsible for month-end reporting and ensure accurate processing of accruals and period-end journals.
