As a Career Advancement Specialist in our esteemed Occupational Rehabilitation team, you will have the autonomy to design your workweek and make a meaningful impact while exploring career options and supporting job placement and vocational training.

The Role:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' abilities, limitations, and needs.
  • Develop individualised rehabilitation plans with realistic goals and interventions.
  • Identify RTW psychological barriers.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support, helping clients cope with their conditions.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate rehabilitation.
  • Assist clients in exploring career options and support job placement and vocational training.
  • Educate clients and families about the rehabilitation process and advocate for clients' rights.
  • Monitor clients' progress, adjusting plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Offer crisis intervention and refer clients to appropriate emergency services when necessary.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full AHPRA Registration.
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.

Salary Range: Estimated $120,000-$140,000 per annum
