Truck Drivers Wanted for Changeover Positions

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced truck drivers with B double experience to join our team in changeover positions based in Willawong QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving to the commitment of our safety standards and ensuring loads are restrained appropriately. We are looking for skilled and dependable individuals who can work Tuesday to Saturday departing in the evenings around 5pm each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
  • Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
  • Complying with coupling & uncoupling procedures
  • Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
  • Fatigue management in line with BFM guidelines
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation

Requirements:

  • Prior transport experience driving B double combinations preferred
  • Ability to manage fatigue – BFM required or willing to obtain
  • Knowledge of major Australian cities and/or interstate road networks
  • Familiarity with fundamental manual handling protocols
  • Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
