Prison Nurse Position

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse to work in a Merseyside-based prison setting. The ideal candidate will have strong transferable skills and be able to commit to at least 3 shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and observations, documenting findings in written reports.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve the healthcare service, ensuring adherence to Prison guidelines and Healthcare Commission standards.
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient discussions, assessments, interventions, treatment, and medications delivered.
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide timely treatment and care, particularly for those with enduring mental health needs.
This role does not require prison clearance; we are looking for experienced RGNs with strong skills who can adapt to a new environment.
Compensation:- Weekdays: £26.00 per hour
- Weeknights/Saturdays: £28.00 per hour
- Sundays/Bank holidays: £32.00 per hour
