As a Senior RF Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled professionals to solve complex design challenges using modern tools and software. You will be challenged to think creatively and deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.
About the Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and prototyping of new RF & microwave components and electronic subsystems
- RF line-up budget calculations, modelling, and simulations of RF & microwave circuits using software packages
- Qualification testing and documentation of new products, including Antenna testing and EMI/EMC testing
- Ability to participate in generation of formal bids and quotations
- Ability to deal with customers and present design details and documentations during review
- Review project schedules and meet financial and time constraints
- Take part in manufacture and test of modules
- Provide Engineering leadership to small multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery of projects
- Maintain a focus on producing quality products and either recommend enhancements which will promote customer satisfaction or cost reductions
Requirements
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Extensive experience with RF modelling and simulation software packages such as CST Microwave Studio and Microwave Office for RF line-up budget calculations, modelling, and simulation of RF & microwave circuits
- Experience with software, such as Altium or equivalent, for schematics and PCB design
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Experience with a production environment and product development
- Experience in generating engineering plans, design documentation, and work-breakdown-structures
- Experience in working with customers to understand project requirements and generating specifications
