About the RoleThe ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics (CECC) is seeking casual sessional academics (tutors) for Semester 1. We are looking for individuals with experience and expertise in the field of Computing who are interested in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
As a casual sessional academic, you will be involved in the delivery of CECC courses with support, guidance, and direction from the Course Convenor and School staff. You will work both independently and as part of a team to inspire active and evidence-based learning in our courses, motivate students to achieve their best, and help them meet the stated learning outcomes.
A Tutor shall have qualifications and/or experiences recognised by the institution as appropriate for the relevant discipline area. If you have the ability to engage, educate, and enjoy working as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.
Tutoring qualifications are highly regarded. If you have not already completed specific tutor training run by the CECS or TQP with CHELT, you may have the opportunity to participate in this professional development during the semester, depending on COVID-19 restrictions.
