We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asphalt Paver to join our team in Dandenong.

The successful candidate will be responsible for laying asphalt on roads and highways, utilizing innovative state-of-the-art equipment.

This is a casual position with full-time hours and the possibility of overtime. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in asphalt paving and possess a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Laying asphalt using mobile plant operation
  • Road work construction and maintenance
  • Safe operation near live traffic
  • Toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments, and project-specific data capture

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in asphalt paving
  • A strong and active commitment to safety
  • Ability to operate a paver, roller, skid steer loader, tack coat truck, and other heavy plant and equipment
  • A current HR or HC Licence preferred but not essential
  • Availability to accommodate varying start and finish times to facilitate project deliverables and road closures
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
  • Ability to pass a fit-for-work and drug-and-alcohol screening
