Expert Early Childhood Education Advisor

The role of Senior Advisor focuses on enhancing learning and development outcomes in early childhood education. Key to this position is building partnerships with stakeholders, including local government, community service organisations and early childhood providers.
This advisor provides expert advice and support to these groups, managing service agreements between them and the Department of Education. The role requires exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, as well as experience in project management.
Leadership skills are also essential, as the role may involve leading and supervising a team of Performance & Planning Advisors. Required attributes include critical thinking and problem-solving skills, stakeholder management and influencing skills, data analysis and written communication skills, project management skills, people management experience and ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to improve early childhood education outcomes, analysing data to inform decision-making and providing advice to senior leaders on key issues affecting the sector.
As a senior advisor, you will be responsible for guiding teams to achieve high-quality results and ensuring the effective delivery of programs and services. You will work closely with other departments and external partners to drive collaboration and innovation in the sector.
