About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QHSE Coordinator to join our team at MCC Label. As a QHSE Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving, strengthening, and supporting the implementation of our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QHSE strategies and plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to site teams on QHSE matters and contribute to the development of QHSE policies and procedures.
  • Review and refine QHSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports and management plans.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to coordinate employee injury management and develop early intervention and return-to-work programs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate relevant HSE training for employees and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain management systems documentation and ensure compliance with ISO certifications.
  • Coordinate the risk and hazard management program and ensure effective implementation.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health, safety, environment, or quality systems management field.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation, codes of practice, and standards.
  • Ability to manage non-conformances through effective corrective action review and assessment.
  • Experience in influencing and effecting impactful QHSE changes in team culture.
  • Auditing qualification preferred, but not essential.
  • Eligible Australia working rights.
