Clinical Team Leader Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Team Leader to join our organisation.

You will oversee a team of care staff, empowering them through learning, support, and leadership to advance the level of service.

As a key member of our care leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to residents, promoting individualised support that enhances their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure sustainability and growth of the service through diligent care planning, community engagement, and sound clinical practice
  • Lead all clinical services in line with established processes and policies
  • Provide quality care services and professional practice
  • Oversee and encourage continuous improvement activities in clinical and lifestyle services
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation
  • Coordinate and support scheduled audits and clinical indicators
  • Ensure resident health records and clinical documentation is relevant and up-to-date
  • Implement best practice medication management guidelines
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or Australian recognised equivalency
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
  • Previous senior clinical care experience in the health sector with clinical experience in aged care
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
  • Sound understanding of care assessment and AN-ACC funding
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in the use of IT applications
