We are seeking a senior leader to join our board of directors.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cultural, political, economic and social context of the Pacific. They must be able to commit to approximately 15-20 hours of work per month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance for setting the direction of the organization.
  • Ensure alignment with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Monitor programs and activities to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Lead the performance management of the CEO and other executives.
  • Evaluate resource needs and secure funding to support the organization's mission.
  • Adhere to governance standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of the Pacific region and its complexities.
  • Sufficient time to dedicate to board responsibilities (approximately 15-20 hours/month).
