The Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will provide empathetic and personalized support to our residents by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Housekeeping skills and attention to detail are crucial in ensuring our residents receive excellent care.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linen as required.
- Maintain legislated workplace health and safety practices.
- Assist the broader team with tasks such as catering and cleaning as needed.
Requirements
- Cert III Hospitality or equivalent experience highly regarded.
- Aged care experience beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
