Sydney, NSW, Australia is the ideal location for this Contingent Contract role.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000AUD.
About the Role:- Deliver business partnering and insights for costs to the Technology & Operations Group, directly supporting the Technology & Operations Leadership Team deliver their financial commitments.
- Ensure cost management oversight and alignment of information and reporting within IT & Operations.
- Build the economic model to capture the true cost of IT.
- Act as a virtual team member for the Technology & Operations Leadership Team, providing timely and accurate finance insights.
- Ensure that Finance services are delivered to Technology & Operations and their leaders in an efficient and effective way.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to develop the key cost management outputs relevant to guide the decision making (e.g. Models, Reports) ensuring analysis, advice and insights provided enable these groups functions to drive business required performance.
- Provide input into the planning and forecasting for cost driving Key Performance Indicators, both financial and non-financial.
- When relevant, assist with business case review.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement and strong expense discipline to optimise the use of financial resources.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification accounting experience in a large financial services cost or management accounting
- Experience working in Information Technology environment will be an advantage
- Good understanding of IT services
- Excellent analytical and numeric skills. Lateral thinker with a demonstrated ability to identify full impact of an action from both a business results and model/process point of view.
- Advanced Excel skills. A good working knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Essbase, nVision, Peoplesoft and Business Objects would be advantageous
- CPA/CA (or equivalent) qualified
