Healthscope is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Department at Peninsula Private Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellence in clinical leadership and provide safety and quality to patients and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Support a supportive leadership team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Participate in education and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure current AHPRA registration and maintain a high level of professional development.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 3 years' experience in surgical/acute medical and rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated professional development and a commitment to quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Desirable Criteria
- Advanced Life Support certification.
- Advanced Paediatric Life Support certification.
- IV Cannulation skills.
