Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrotechnology Instructor to join our team. As a Teacher Under Supervision, you will be responsible for delivering vocational and non-vocational training in Electrotechnology under the guidance of an experienced educator.

About The Role

In this role, you will contribute to curriculum planning, student engagement, and continuous improvement while building strong industry connections. You will work collaboratively with educators and stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality training programs that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess training activities under supervision
  • Create inclusive and safe learning environments
  • Support students through pastoral care and referrals
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments
  • Engage with industry and vocational education networks
  • Participate in professional development to maintain vocational currency
  • Ensure compliance with policies and VET standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant vocational qualifications in Electrotechnology
  • A Grade Electrical License
  • Demonstrated industry experience
  • Actively working towards a training and assessment credential or holding a relevant skill set or secondary teaching qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to accurate record-keeping and compliance
  • Understanding of OH&S and anti-discrimination legislation
