Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopaedics team at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide safe, quality person-centred care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, compassionate, quality, person-centred orthopaedic nursing care.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to achieve care goals.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in education and mentorship opportunities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative ward culture focused on growth, teamwork, and excellence in care.
Requirements
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Ability to provide safe, compassionate care that is culturally safe in line with NSW Health CORE values.
  • Experience or ability to align skills with the role requirements and contribute to the Orthopaedics Team.
  • Ability to manage priorities while maintaining patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility for permanent appointment in NSW Health (Australian citizenship or permanent residency).
