Senior Product Development Manager

This role involves developing and implementing operational strategies for managing commercial insurance products from inception to maturity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring product performance, identifying areas of improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer retention.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements while fostering innovation and collaboration across departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans for end-to-end product lifecycle management
  • Monitor product performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives
  • Foster innovation and collaboration within the organization

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management within an insurance-based organization or large-scale insurer
  • Detailed knowledge of insurance product structure and experience in drafting insurance products
  • Strong ability to integrate inputs from pricing, underwriting, portfolio management, and distribution to optimize product lifecycles
  • Demonstrated experience influencing product strategy, design, governance, and pricing
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, insurance, or related fields
