Job Title: Telecoms Riggers

We are seeking experienced Telecoms Riggers to join our team at HRG. As a Telecoms Rigger, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex steelwork and telecommunication structures across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of complex steelwork from shop drawings
  • Installation of mobile equipment for all major carriers
  • Ability to lead a team successfully
  • Installation of telecommunication structures (poles, masts, and towers)
  • Understanding of site drawings
  • Fault finding and resolution
  • Ability to work with cranes and EWPs (Elevated Work Platforms)
  • Completion of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) documentation
Requirements:
  • Valid Rigging tickets in Australia
  • Structural knowledge and experience preferred
  • Telecoms experience not necessary; training will be provided
  • Candidates based in Brisbane/Gold Coast are preferred to foster strong team relationships and avoid isolation

Travel Requirements:
  • Must be flexible with extended stays away from home
  • Typical schedule: 3 weeks on, 4 days off
  • Travel arrangements include FIFO, DIDO, or leaving the van at a location and flying home
