Job Description

This role involves working with the Faculty of Education as an Assessor/coach to deliver apprenticeship training programmes. The main focus is on planning and delivery of clinical Apprenticeships, mainly at level 2 and level 3.

The role will involve collaborating with a diverse range of internal colleagues in clinical areas to create apprenticeship opportunities that enable staff to develop and progress. This will be achieved by working closely with the Lead Technical Trainer to devise individual programmes tailored to the needs of the Apprentice and their working area.

Responsibilities
  • To coordinate the on-programme element of the Apprenticeship and support the collation of portfolio evidence showcasing the Apprentice's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ensure mandatory training or internal training is mapped across into the Apprenticeship to maximise and capture naturally occurring knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
  • Coordinate the delivery of group-based teaching sessions as required.
  • Manage the learner journey and ensure that mandatory timelines are met such as candidate registration, completion of mandatory qualifications, gateway, and EPA requirements.
  • Meet regularly with line managers to review progress and set targets in line with programme delivery.
