Role Responsibilities:
The Automation Test Developers will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. They will ensure that testing activities are thoroughly planned, monitored, and executed in alignment with established testing protocols and business requirements. A significant aspect of this position involves engaging with external software vendors as key stakeholders.
Automation Test Developers will operate with a high degree of autonomy, making decisions based on their advanced judgment and understanding of broader organizational implications, while working under the general oversight of senior personnel. In a leadership capacity, they will foster innovation, drive changes in workplace practices, and organize tasks amidst competing priorities and strategic objectives.
Key Duties Include:
- Conducting analysis, design, and development of new features within the automation framework.
- Resolving complex challenges and delivering high-quality automation solutions.
- Performing high-level assessments of technical requirements to support automation evaluations with proposed solutions.
- Engaging in technical design and development of intricate custom solutions and/or standard conversion and migration solutions.
- Overseeing deployment releases and ensuring production support and maintenance of automation changes.
- Sharing knowledge and expertise as a Subject Matter Expert while mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Ensuring adherence to endorsed software development methodologies.
- Providing support to testing and development teams to guarantee high-quality realization of custom solutions.
- Reporting on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators, and quality assurance within the area of responsibility.
- Preparing and reviewing various automation-related documentation, including technical and corporate materials.
- Offering detailed, specialized automation technical advice to senior management as needed.
