We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Deaf Connect. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering speech, language, and listening assessments in accordance with Healthy Hearing Monitoring Guidelines, as well as providing speech pathology sessions for NDIS and Medicare clients with a hearing loss.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and effective clinical management to clients with hearing loss
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
- Speech Pathology Australia Certified Practising Membership
- NDIS Worker's Screening Check
- Working With Children Check/Blue Card
- Knowledge and skills in clinical best practice and principles of Family Centred Practice (FCP)
- Knowledge of childhood development
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
