Role Overview

This position sits within our global media performance organisation that unites GroupM Practises (search, social, programmatic, ad-ops, commerce) and Solutions (Finecast, Xaxis, Sightline and Goat). You will be embedded and exclusively working across EssenceMediacom Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage biddable campaigns for key clients, supporting the planning function.
  • Supervise elements of team workload, ensuring client demands are met.
  • Drive efficiency gains across the department through effective biddable operations.

A senior professional in biddable operations, you will drive efficiency gains across the department. With a drive and passion for digital media, you'll step into a management role by developing key leadership skills to complement your technical expertise.

Main Relationships
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams.
  • Establish strong relationships with media, data, and technology partners.
  • Foster deep trust and understanding with agency client teams.
  • Contribute to great teamwork in your immediate team.
Key AccountabilitiesPeople – 20% of your time
  • Oversee workflow of junior team members, escalating issues promptly.
  • Hold regular performance evaluation meetings with reports, setting clear KPIs and monitoring achievement.
  • Provide clear guidance and instruction when working with, teaching, or helping others.
Product – 40% of your time
  • Deliver end-to-end biddable campaigns, ensuring QA compliance and best practice.
  • Identify and drive innovation and best practice opportunities within your teams.
  • Guide and enrich advanced biddable capabilities via hands-on and coaching experiences.
  • Work with your manager to develop testing frameworks advancing our capabilities.
Client – 20% of your time
  • Lead initiatives improving agency and client capabilities, working across vendors and partners.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients at a junior and intermediate level.
  • Develop your skills in media planning principles.
Commercial – 20% of your time
  • Ensure all team financial and compliance processes are followed accurately.
  • Maintain a strong perspective on in-scope services for your clients.
  • Provide hands-on leadership to junior staff in dealing with commercial issues.
