About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status and milestones
  • Perform load calculations, system simulations, and energy modeling to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems
  • Oversee HVAC system installation and commissioning
  • Ensure HVAC systems meet all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, system specifications, design reports, and operation and maintenance manuals
  • Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators to inform decision-making
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience working on HVAC commercial and industrial projects in Australia
  • Proven experience in an engineering role within the construction industry, preferably in HVAC or building services
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology solutions, relating to modeling
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, including mechanical ventilation and air conditioning in buildings AS and Plumbing Regulations 2018, Mechanical Services work
  • RPEQ/CPEng desirable but not essential
